….RULES….
FOR PLAYING THE GAME OF
Tiddledy Winks.

It can be played by from two to four persons.  If four are playing, it is well for
each two to play as partners.  Each player selects a color and uses winks and
tiddledy of that color.

The game is to snap the winks into the pot by pressing the edge with the tiddledy.
The pot should be placed in the centre of the table or room and the winks are first
placed by each player at an equal distance from the pot; this distance should be such that
the first few plays serve to gain a position from which they can be snapped into the pot.

The first player is decided by lot and the others in succession to the left.
Should the wink of one player cover that of another during the play, the under one
cannot be touched until the one covering it has been snapped off by the player to whom it
belongs.

The player who first snaps into the pot all the winks of his color wins the game.
Partners may snap each other’s winks as well as their own.
