Rules

Rules for Playing the Game of

Tidleywinks.

1. Place the Wood Cup in the centre of the Dining Table, which should be covered with a thick cloth.  Each player selects one large Counter or “Flipper,” and the small counters of the same colour.  The latter are placed near the edge of the table, and each player in turn flips them (by pressing on their edge with the Flipper) towards the cup.

2. A player at each turn may have either a single flip, or one flip at each of his small counters as may be agreed when starting.  The one who first gets all his small counters into the Cup wins the game.

3. The game may be played for stakes if desired.

REGLE DU JEU.

Jeu de TIDLEYWINKS.

1. Places le gobelet en bois au centre d’une table de salle à manger couverte d’un drap épais.  Chaque joueur choisit un grand jeton et prend les petits jetons de la même couleur, ces derniers sont placé près du bord de la table et chaque joueur à son tour les fair sauter (en pressnat sur leur bord au moyen du grand jeton) vers le gobelet.

2. Un joueur peut soit pousser un seul jeton à la fois ou peut es pousser tour au même tour suivant l’arrangement fait en commençant.  Celui qui, le premier met tous ses petits jetons dans le gobelet gagne la partie.

3. La parite peut être jouée avec un enjeu si on le désire.
